A Sora alternative built for short drama series
Sora is strong at cinematic clips from a prompt. Short drama needs something else: the same lead in every cut, spoken lines, captions, and episode two that matches episode one.
AlphaDrama is that pipeline. It is not a drop-in replica of Sora's look. It is the tool you use when the unit of work is an episode, not a shot.
Example: Same premise Sora would turn into one pretty clip: a waitress mistaken for a fiancée. Here it becomes a 90-second episode with two locked leads and a cliffhanger.
What a clip model is for
A general text-to-video model is the right choice for a mood piece, a single visual experiment, or a shot you will edit into something else. It is the wrong choice when viewers have to recognize a person tomorrow.
What short drama adds on top
Casting, a shot list, voices, lip sync on dialogue, burned-in captions, and a project that holds the cast for the next episode. Those steps are why people look for a Sora alternative specifically for drama.
- Locked portraits before any clip renders
- A storyboard you can edit, with a price before generate
- 9:16 export aimed at TikTok, Reels and Shorts
An honest comparison
AlphaDrama will not match every cinematic lighting trick of a frontier clip model on the first try. It will keep Emma looking like Emma from the gala to the rooftop. If you need both, generate a hero insert elsewhere and keep the episode spine here.
When to pick this instead
You have a logline, a chapter or a script. You want a series, or at least a second episode. You care that the mouth matches the line. You want to post this week, not collect beautiful orphans in a folder.
How to try the alternative in one hour
Paste a one-paragraph premise, lock two characters, generate a 60-second episode, and watch it on your phone. That test answers the search better than a feature matrix.
How it works
Start with a story or a product
Paste a chapter, an outline or a one-line idea. For an ad, add product photos or a product link.
We cast, storyboard and voice it
Characters get fixed looks, scenes get sets, and the script is split into shots with voices and captions.

Frequently asked questions
Is AlphaDrama trying to copy Sora?
No. Sora generates clips. AlphaDrama produces short-drama episodes: cast, shots, voices and captions.
Can I still use a clip model for inserts?
Yes. Keep the episode and the cast here; bring in a single atmospheric shot if you need that look.
Does it support a series, not one video?
Yes. Characters and locations stay with the project across episodes.
What do I export?
A 9:16 MP4 ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
